Fine Arts Minor
This minor provides students with an introduction to the visual arts (painting, illustration, street art, performance, photography, craft, video, sculpture, and architecture) and the roles that the visual arts play in cultures around the world, historically and today. The arts communicate beliefs, express identities, shape and reflect values, record surroundings, and imagine a better future. Classes focus on the history and theory of the visual arts, by analyzing them in their historical and cultural contexts. Select classes may include studio or design components.
