Sports Management Minor
Today’s sports organizations are high-stakes businesses requiring creative, knowledgeable, and savvy professionals. Sports management is a burgeoning field both nationally and globally. St. Francis College is located in Brooklyn, New York, the epicenter of this expanding area. With numerous major league sports teams, corporations and sporting goods companies, the opportunities for students are abundant. In addition, there are several sports-related opportunities in television, newspapers and radio. Students will learn skills to enhance their expertise and knowledge in supervision, finance, media relations and sales promotion. At least three of the courses in a minor must be taken as elective requirements outside of the major requirements.
