Students with advanced standing in French may substitute more advanced courses for FRE-1101 Beginning Year French I, FRE-1102 Beginning Year French II, FRE-2103 Lower Intermediate French, or FRE-2104 Upper Intermediate French as approved by the department Chairperson. A maximum of 6 CLEP credits will be accepted toward the minor in French.
